National Service Scheme(N.S.S.)

• The NSS unit provides training to students by way of Training in crisis management. Workshops on skill development for young women and awareness campaign on child labour for for college youth are organized.
• Training camps in watershed management. NSS camps on model villages focusing on health, hygiene and sanitation
• Training camps on conservation and plantation of tree and plants and promoting green umbrella in the urban and rural neighborhood.
• Under the adopted village program, a 15 days training is conducted on tree plantation, water Management education for village youth, and guidance and services are extended to promote
• Agro-waste management.
• Workshops on Agricultural Technology are conducted for teachers and students; who can train Farmers in testing soil and importance of waste management (Honey bees).

Earn and Learn Scheme

• This scheme continues to provide relief to students from economically and socially backward classes. Every year there has been an increase in the number of students, who have been benefited from the program.

Sports

• While academic excellence has been the main goal of our college the participation and performance in sports has also received due & minute attention of the Administration of college , The institution encourage its students in games and sports at various levels by providing facilities. Number of times students represented college at International , National & Inter-University levels.

GOI Scholarship:

• The Student must be from (SC/NT/OBC/SBC & ST) category
• Income Limit for NT/OBC/SBC is Upto 1 Lakh
• Income Limt for SC/ST is upto 2 Lakh

GOI Freeship Scholarship:

• The Student must be from (SC/NT/OBC/SBC & ST) category
• Income Limit for NT/OBC/SBC is Upto 1 Lakh
• Income Limt for SC/ST is upto 2 Lakh

Minority Scholarship:

• The minority scholarship is given to (Christion/Muslim/Sikh/Parsi/Jain) religion.

Handicap Scholarship:

• The student must have minimum 40% handicap certificate of Govt. Hospital

Eklavya Arthik Sahayya Yojna:

• This scholarship is for P.G. Student.
• This scholarship is given to a student who got above 70% in graduation.

Health Care Facility

• The college provides health care facility to the students by providing First-Aid and other basic facilities and when required the separate room is earmarked the said facility.
• Doctors are available on call whenever the need arises.
• Medical facility is also extended to the physical education department of the college at the time of matches like volleyball, cricket, table tennis etc.
• Further more at the time of college outings first aid facility is available to the students.

Biometrics Attendence

• Biometric attendance to keep students in class
• Science students can no longer get away with merely attending practicals and bunking regular classes.
• In an attempt to clamp down on students playing truant from class, and reduce teacher absenteeism, the Higher Education Department has decided to instal biometric attendance system in all government colleges in the State by the end of this academic year.

canteen facility

• College has a hygienically maintained canteen which provides healthy & nutritious food.
• Our priority is to provide healthy and wholesome food/snacks to our children and the spirit is well reflected in the canteen menu
• We discourage carbonated drinks and junk foods. The items such as South Indian and North Indian foods. Child labour is not employed anywhere in the campus including the canteen.
